Casablanca, Habous Quarter Souq
The Habous Quarter souq was built by the French in the 1930s as a modern, planned medina - think bustling bazaar with a sanitized French twist. It is now the new market of Casablanca with an old fashioned carpet auction and numerous shops and stores selling all manner of goods for the tourist and citizen alike.
