Lower Fort Garry Historic Park
Lower Fort Garry was a major business site for all in the Red River Settlement in the 1850's and 60's. It was a supply center for the Hudson's Bay company which dealt with the nearby aboriginal communities, fur traders and farmers in the area. It is now a showcase of history along the Red River and features well restored buildings, artifacts and fortifications.
